The restaurant makes a gorgeous backdrop for photos thanks to our lush tropical garden and beautiful Belizean hardwood interior. Your menu and wines can be pre-selected based on your personal preferences and, if available, a talented musician can serenade you with romantic love songs. " Perfect restaurant and perfect wedding reception! From start to finish, Michael and the staff at Il Pellicano went above and beyond to make our evening absolutely perfect. We suddenly found ourselves without a restaurant to host our 22 person wedding reception supper. No problem for Michael!
Within a week, we had settled on our menu choices, seating arrangements, and timing. I arrived on the island a week early and went to eat at Il Pellicano just to 'check it out'. It is by far the best restaurant on Caye Caulker. The setting is beautiful, the ambiance quiet and laid back, the service impeccable, and the prices quite reasonable.
When we arrived for our wedding reception the next week, everything went as planned and we had a magical evening. The guitarist playing that night was the icing on the cake. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of our guests were well fed and taken care of. We can't thank Michael and the staff enough for accommodating us. There were other diners there, too, and it all blended seamlessly. "
